Biography  
1954  Born in Gettysburg, PA, USA
1973-1977  Minneapolis College of Art and Design, studies drawing,
painting and printmaking.
1978-1979  Moves to Los Angeles, CA.  Enrolls in the Women’s Building classes and volunteers for Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party” project. Participates in a critique group formed by
art historian, Arlene Raven.
1981  Begins a series of abstract color pencil drawings.
1984  Sustains injury to dominant hand.  Two years of
medical treatment ensues.
1986 Abandons art career and begins work in the computer field.
1992   Accepts programmer analyst position at UCLA.
1999   Launches first series of color pencil drawings since 1984.
2003 Becomes a signature member of the Colored Pencil
Society of America.
2006  Begins current series of “rainscapes”, adding graphite, solvent and other mediums.
2008  Retires from UCLA to focus solely on art.
