Minneapolis College of Art and Design, studies drawing,
painting and printmaking. |
| 1978-1979 |
Moves to Los Angeles, CA. Enrolls in the Women’s Building classes and volunteers for Judy Chicago’s “The Dinner Party” project. Participates in a critique group formed by
art historian, Arlene Raven. |
| 1981 |
Begins a series of abstract color pencil drawings. |
| 1984 |
Sustains injury to dominant hand. Two years of
medical treatment ensues. |
| 1986 |
Abandons art career and begins work in the computer field. |
| 1992 |
Accepts programmer analyst position at UCLA. |
| 1999 |
Launches first series of color pencil drawings since 1984. |
| 2003 |
Becomes a signature member of the Colored Pencil
Society of America. |
| 2006 |
Begins current series of “rainscapes”, adding graphite, solvent and other mediums. |
| 2008 |
Retires from UCLA to focus solely on art.
